Mr. Rabindra Nath Lahiri, now the Director of Batanagar Institute of Engineering, Management and Science (BIEMS), has got more than 35 years of diverse professional experience under his belt.
He has significantly contributed in Information Technology, Engineering, Power, Manufacturing and Education Sectors and worked in organizations like TCS, NTPC, L&T etc.
In 2012 Mr. Lahiri, along with some other high level working professionals and eminent academicians, set up Batanagar Institute of Engineering, Management and Science (BIEMS). The objective was to offer quality education to students so that they can become industry-ready professionals with leadership values and high degree of professional skills.
